Celebrating a Lifetime of Learning

Though his life was cut short, J.B. embodied the ideals of the Life-Long Learner Memorial Scholarship, seeking knowledge and widsom for its own sake. This award honors a hard working graduating senior with a record of good behavior and a reputation of never giving up regardless of how difficult the academic challenges presented by the D'Evelyn curriculum. Following in Jamin's footsetps, the award also recognizes selflessness, such as reaching out to others who were not necessarily considered part of the mainstream social scene. Ultimately, the award acknowledges a life-long learner determined to attend a college, university, or trade school in their quest to become a responsible citizen and effective participant in the community.
